Get up early. Get up and get out there. Get up and run. Get up and push. Get up and adventure. Get up. Get up. Get up.

Just recently I heard someone say that they've had to get up "super early" at 7 o'clock for the past few weeks. What!? To me that is not early, not nearly. For me it is sleeping in. I'm not bragging or anything I am just pointing out that we need to change our perspective.

When I get up early and I mean actually early, like at 4, 5, or 6 oclock, I get so many things done. By the time 7 rolls around I have already done yoga, eaten breakfast, meditated, and read. All before I've even ran.

Getting up and doing what I have to do is a cornerstone of my productivity and sanity. What are you going to loose? A little sleep, a little rest, a little more time on your screen? Compared to going out and pushing hard on the trails, learning something new, or staying present and doing what you have to do.

I am not only talking about getting up early. I am talking about life. This simple saying has given me the motivation to do many things. Get up that next climb. Get up and ask that question. Get up and go. When your sitting there on your couch thinking, "Ugh I have so much to do. I don't even wanna do any of it!!!" Change the perspective, ask yourself, "What am I doing?" Again what are you going to loose? NOTHING. Your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health will benefit more by you performing the positive change than by sitting down and staying complacent in comfort. Change yourself to better yourself.

So please get up and push hard  to better yourself, your life, and your situation. Fall in love with the process.

Peace.

Peace.
