Always vegan, always whole. 

So whenever I finish a run or get home from school I'm usually starving. And I follow a pretty set routine in terms of eating. I eat breakfast, then a mid-morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and finally an evening snack. I know it may seem like a lot, but it is the best way that I have found that fuels me efficiently. Based around the three meals with snacking in between. So the snacks are important and get me fueled throughout the day and some of the snacks that I love are what follows. Simple and easy to make they can be incorporated at any point in the day and customized to your likes. 

Banana & Peanut Butter: 

Ingredients: 

Banana

Peanut Butter

Directions: 

1.) Cut banana lengthwise and put peanut butter inside.  

Snack Bars: 

I personally love Kind bars (I like the Jalapeños), Pure bars (I like the Cashew Coconut), or Cliff Kit's Organic bars (I like the Cashew Date). 

Sweet Potato & Peanut Butter:

Ingredients: 

Roasted Sweet Potato (check out my roasting veggies recipe

Peanut Butter

Directions: 

1.) Cut sweet potato lengthwise and place in peanut butter.

This is extremely versatile, enjoy with chips, carrots, jicama, cucumbers, or really anything else.
