Always vegan, always whole. 

Smoothies are so much a big part of my life and nutrition that I figured I should post about them more often here. This is one of the many variations of smoothie that my dad and I drink, it's a little sweeter than some of the others and very simple. Altogether velvety smooth (if you make it in a Vitamix like us) and nutritious enough, as it's packed with protein, color, vitamins, and much more, for a meal. It keeps me satiated and filled (especially when I add peanut butter) and fuels me for any run type. Please enjoy this amazing chocolate-y green smoothie!


Kale (about 1 1/2 cups to 2 cups) 

2 Dates

1-2 Frozen Bannanas

2 tbsp Cacao Powder

 1 tbsp Peanut Butter  (optional)


1.) Blend all together.  

And that's it. Smoothies by nature are simplicity and so you'll find in this smoothie a quick, but nutritious fix to any meal, fuel up, or recovery!
